Tell us about your connection to Wigtown and the Book Festival

I have been actively involved for three years now with "The Belties of Curleywee Farm", "The Trail Of The Pointy Toed Pyjama Thief" and "Boo, Where Are You?"  I obviously can't get enough of the festival so I also volunteer to help out in the children's marquee.

 

Sum up your festival experience in 5 words

Everyone is having a ball.

 

What's your favourite festival memory? 

Giggling uncontrollably with Joyce Cochrane in The Old Bank Bookshop trying to wash a beanbag in a sink the size of a teacup - you had to have been there!

 

Who would be your dream author to appear at the Festival? 

Patrick Suskind as I love the novel Perfume and am intrigued as to what kind of mind could invent such an extraordinarily visual work.
