Wigtown Festival Company is offering young people aged between 12-18 years old a unique opportunity to take part in a Scots translation and spoken word workshop project with Scots writer John Burns at the Ryan Centre in Stranraer.
Over the course of five interactive and imagination group workshop sessions you will learn from John how to delve through, explore and translate extracts from Peter Pan by JM Barrie into Scots. You will have the chance to input your your ideas into the creative process and learn new Scots words at the same time.
At the end of this stimulating group process you will then have the chance to invite your family and friends to watch you read/perform Peter Pan in Scots at a spoken word event in the Ryan Centre Theatre.
