Wigtown Festival Company is seeking two individuals to support the set up, delivery and take-down of Wigtown Book Festival 2023.

The successful candidates will support the set up of Festival venues prior to and during Wigtown Book Festival, and clear up following the final events on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 October. This will include laying carpet, building stage backdrops, moving event furniture, erecting signage, managing recycling, and event take down/clear up.

These temporary posts are for a period of 8 days (64 hours) each between Wednesday 20 September and Monday 2 October, requiring flexibility during this period. The successful candidates will work closely day to day with the Event Coordinator and be responsible to the Operational Director. The place of work is Wigtown Festival Company Offices, 11 North Main Street, Wigtown, DG8 9HN.

Pay £10.90 per hour.

These posts are commissions and the successful candidates will be responsible for their own tax and national insurance contributions.
