Today, Chitra Ramaswamy reads her essay “Three Meditations on Absence in Nature and Life” from Antlers of Water, a new collection of writing on the nature and environment of Scotland edited by Kathleen Jamie. (15 min approx.)

Chitra Ramaswamy’s book, Expecting, won the Saltire First Book of the Year Award 2016. She writes for a range of publications including the Guardian. She lives in Edinburgh
