The Book Town Bus
As part of our Change the Stories initiative we are asking visitors to think about how they visit Wigtown, and contemplate environmentally friendly modes of travel. To this end, Wigtown Book Festival has initiated a sustainable transport project and we are offering a free minibus service.
Please book you place on the minibus service at least 48 hours in advance

Arriving at Lockerbie train station 9:10am
Arriving at Dumfries train station 9:30am
Arrival in Wigtown 11:15am
These are approximate times, so please don't panic if the minibus is running slightly late.

The minibus departure point will be opposite the Wigtown Primary School gates on New Rd, Wigtown, Newton Stewart DG8 9JE
