Tell us about your connection to Wigtown and the Book Festival
I had the pleasure to be in Wigtown during the 2013 Festival. We had a board meeting of the International Organisation of Booktowns.

More open boots than doors

What's your favourite festival memory? 
James Robertson’s talk, The News Where You Are. Afterwards I bought And the Land Lay Still, a wonderful book. And also the moment the dining table fell apart in The Book Shop!

 

Who would be your dream author to appear at the Festival? 
Jón Kalman Stéfansson, an impressive Icelandic author or the Hungarian Peter Esterhazy.
