Tea & Words

Ben Moor

Online Event
Mon 28 Sep
15:30 UK
Free, ticketed

Settle down with a cup of something warm and listen to a 15-minute reading from one of a carefully selected group of writers. Many of them are award-winning, all of them are ground-breaking. What better way to spend your afternoon tea break?

Today, actor and writer Ben Moor reads from his latest book, Who Here’s Lost?. (15 min approx.) Written for the stage as a theatre piece, this is a haunting and melancholy comic road trip of the soul that features bubble-wrap, party games, museums and ants.

Ben Moor has become one of the UK’s most respected writer-performers over the course of a twenty-year career, having created original work for the stage and acted in numerous screen projects. His ‘stand-up theatre’ pieces place universal themes in surreal and funny landscapes. His writing has been compared to authors as diverse as Lewis Carroll, Thomas Pynchon and Douglas Adams.
