Settle down with a cup of something warm and listen to a 15-minute reading from one of a carefully selected group of writers. Many of them are award-winning, all of them are ground-breaking. What better way to spend your afternoon tea break? 

A new short story by Karen Campbell commissioned by Wigtown Book Festival during lockdown. A group of restless ghosts roams Wigtown confronting the past and the present. (15 min approx.)

Karen Campbell is a former police officer. She began writing in earnest on the renowned Glasgow University Creative Writing course, and has written seven novels, most recently The Sound of the Hours (Bloomsbury). She lives in Dumfries & Galloway.
