Shore Foraging Walk

Festival Forage
Mon 28 Sep
13:00 UK

Our only in-person event this year! Explore the remarkable, tasty and nourishing wild larder of Galloway's coast with Scotland's leading wild food educator, Mark Williams of Galloway Wild Foods. Over the course of about 1 mile of very gentle walking, over 2 hours we will explore a wide range of wild foods of salt marsh, sandy beach, rocky shore, and maritime hedgerows in an exceptionally beautiful area of Galloway. Wild tipples, seaweed snacks, nourishing greens and aromatic coastal herbs will all feature. Novices and experienced foragers looking to increase their repertoire will enjoy this event.

Please note, social distancing measures will be followed. Please read Mark’s C19 Policy.
