Spoken Word with Siren Theatre

Online Event
Sun 14 Mar
16:00 UK
Free, ticketed

Spoken word poetry: instinctive and dynamic. Join poet and theatre-maker Imogen Stirling (Sky Arts, BBC, Neu! Reekie!) for an online workshop discovering the rich and varied world of spoken word. Together, we will look at how spoken word (in any form) can be used to claim your space, garner self-confidence, and improve self-expression.

This is the place to take first steps, play around with your thoughts and work out what you might want to say within an encouraging environment. Drawing on her experience as part of gig theatre collective, Siren Theatre Company, Imogen will share writing, performance, and delivery exercises, helping participants to find their voices and tell their stories.
