Let’s Draw The Undersea World of Bubble McBea

Church Hall
In person event
Sat 25 Sep
16:00 UK

Ages 4-9

An hour-long drawing and illustration workshop for parents and children aged 4 to 9 years led by artist and illustrator Iain Piercy — who created the illustrations for Scottish Opera’s family show A Little Bit of Bubble McBea. If you’ve already attended a performance at this year’s book festival, or even if you haven’t but you’d like to learn how to draw some of the characters in this marvellous musical adventure, then this workshop is for you. Bubble isn’t just an ordinary wee girl — she’s a Selkie (half seal, half human) and, together with her best friend Shonny the Pony, she sets out to find out who or what is polluting the waters around her beautiful island home, meeting many different sea creatures along the way. All materials will be provided.
