The Runaways of Haddington Hall

Church Hall
In person event
Sun 26 Sep
12:00 UK

Ages 8-12

Vivian French takes us on a trip to Dickensian England in a wonderfully twisty tale of a Victorian laundry maid sent to live in a boarding-home for wayward orphans. Her friends are going to help plot a plan to get her out, but they’ll have to outwit Mrs Haddington, a wicked philanthropist, and Obadiah Marpike, a dastardly conman, to do it! In conversation with Ross MacKenzie, author of the award-winning Nowhere Emporium trilogy.
