Join us at Bladnoch Distillery on the edge of Wigtown as Scotland’s best-known whisky writer leads the audience through a special festival tasting. Price includes all whiskies. Please drink sensibly. Numbers are strictly limited. Over-18s only. 

About Charles MacLean: A renowned raconteur, Scotland's leading whisky writer Charles MacLean MBE was founding editor of Whisky Magazine. He has published 18 books to date, including the standard work on whisky brands, Scotch Whisky and the leading book on its subject, Malt Whisky, both of which were shortlisted for Glenfiddich Awards. He was elected a Keeper of the Quaich in 1992 for ‘his services to Scotch over many years’ and granted the rare honour of being elected Master of the Quaich, the industry’s highest accolade, in October 2009. In 2021 he received an MBE for services to Scotch whisky, UK exports and charity.
