Join Cynthia Rogerson as she talks about her widely acclaimed new memoir. Funny, raw and inspiring, Wah! offers a bracing look at her life in all its messy glory. Travelling back and forth between Scotland and California to visit her dying mother, she reflects on all the youthful adventures she chose secret; living in a squat, train-hopping with her brother, hitchhiking in Mexico- all the things our mothers wanted us not to do (but we did anyway!).

"A rich, lyrical text that will show the tears at the heart of things." - Richard Holloway

"Laugh-aloud funny."- James Robertson

"WAH! is as poignant as it is hilarious, and that is saying something. Everyone with a mother should read this book."- Louisa Young
