Big DoG Lecture
The Right to Read
The Garden Room, Moat Brae
Fri 31 Mar
19:00 UK
Free, ticketed
Studies suggest that as many as one in two children find reading a chore, and dyslexia is as
common as left-handedness – but could the books be part of the problem? Come along to hear about ways that book design and editorial tweaks can support struggling readers, what may cause issues, and how this can help you find the right book for every child. This session will be led by Mairi Kidd from Moat Brae, previously a publisher specialising in accessibility.
